Natasha’s story

Natasha came to see me because she knew she wanted to end her marriage, but she was afraid of how her husband would react. She knew that she wanted a calm and respectful split, and she wanted help to communicate this and see it through. Natasha says:

I approached Claire to for help in carrying out my decision to tell my husband I wanted a divorce. My main concerns/challenges were to communicate my decision for a divorce in a calm, respectful, non-confrontational manner. I was frightened that his anger would become out of hand and that the conversation would escalate into an argument which would cause me to not be in control of the situation.

Claire’s use of NLP was invaluable for me. It was something I had no prior knowledge of and I did find it odd at first to envisage my feelings, thinking that there is maybe a right/wrong’….but I found that by reacting with my first thoughts, however bizarre, that the progress made with the images were constructive.

Claire’s coaching has allowed me to be able to look back on what was such an emotionally charged and difficult time and know that I handled it in the very best way possible for me. I am proud that I was able to deal with this huge hurdle in my life with compassion not only for me but for my to be ex-husband. Throughout I did not lose my temper and when he became angry I was able to distance myself.

My biggest ‘aha’ moment was and remains with me - see the pictures above. I know now that I can change how I see things. When something upsets, worries and causes me anxiety I look at this and give myself time for reflection.

Claire is a true professional; a friendly and approachable personality. I would 100% recommend Claire (and have already done so).  Her experience, understanding and approach in making you feel relaxed is tremendous. In my case, being the instigator of the divorce, I felt different but came to realise that I too was on the roller-coaster of emotions. A sincere and  highly competent lady. I will always be thankful to you Claire.
